Tara Moore
Tara Long Moore is a school social worker at Anderson School District 5. Recently, Tara retired from law enforcement as a deputy sheriff after serving for twenty-four years. During that time, Tara served thirteen years as a School Resource Officer. She obtained her Bachelor of Social Work at Liberty University and her Master of Social Work from Capella University. After graduating with her MSW, she worked as a therapist, diagnosing and creating treatment plans based on individual needs.
Tara has always been passionate about helping individuals and families through support and resources to ensure equality. Tara's goal is to ensure students and families have access to resources that will benefit them in school and society. Indeed, she is excited and looks forward to working with each of you and having a successful school year.
In addition, Tara is a devoted wife and mother when she is not at work. She enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, and learning new things in her free time.
