Dear South Fant ECEC Families and Community,
On behalf of the South Fant Early Childhood and Education Center, it is truly my pleasure to extend a warm and heartfelt welcome to you as we begin the 2009-2010 school year. August is the time of year to reconnect with old friends and welcome new friends. We at South Fant ECEC are very pleased to welcome everyone to this awesome school year. To those students and parents who are new to South Fant we extend a special warm welcome and best wishes for a grand and productive year in your new school. We hope that you will quickly feel at home and become involved in the activities of our school.
As I begin my first year as principal of South Fant Early Childhood and Education Center, I will work diligently with parents and faculty to foster an atmosphere that promotes a learning community characterized by child centered instruction and decisions, academic achievement, love, trust, respect, community involvement, communication, and recognition of both student and staff achievements. It is important for children to enjoy coming to school, for teachers and staff to enjoy their work and to feel appreciated, and for parents to feel welcome and to know that South Fant ECEC is the best school for their children. I am committed to working in collaboration with you to continue to develop and implement this shared vision. Our school motto, “With Teamwork, Everyone Achieves, “ best describes our commitment of working together as a team in order to move forward this year while creating a nurturing, disciplined, and challenging environment for our children. We have so much to be proud of as a staff, family, and community.
