Half-day four year old preschool and all special needs classes are free. However, a small fee is charged for some extended day programs offered at South Fant Early Childhood and Education Center. Fees are calculated on a sliding scale and based on your family size and gross monthly income. Children from a single or two-parent household where both parents are employed or in school are eligible. Children in families receiving child protective services or with special needs are eligible.
